H.P. Lovecraft's GOD Actually EXISTS...

What if I told you H.P. Lovecraft’s God actually exists?

Born in 1890 H.P. Lovecraft was an American writer and father of cosmic horror that centers around terrifying cosmic deities known as the great old ones and the even more powerful outer gods. You’re probably familiar with his most famous cosmic entity: Cthulhu.

Cthulhu has appeared in everything from books, movies, video games, and tv shows. But Cthulhu is just one of Lovecraft’s creations and not even close to being one of the most powerful or horrific. There’s a lot more, like Dagon, and the King in Yellow.

But according to the Lovecraft mythos all these entities, Cthulhu, Dagon, the King in Yellow, they’re known as the great old ones, and are nothing compared to the Outer Gods. The difference in power between us and the great old ones, is comparable to the difference in power to the great old ones and the outer gods and Azathoth is the most powerful entity in existence.

Azathoth is a dreamer--a dreamer whose dreams are so real, they become reality. In fact, the so-called real world, the “physical” universe is the dream of Azathoth. All people, all worlds, all creatures, all of existence is Azathoth’s dream. And if Azathoth is real, and I’m going to show you that it is, then everything around you and even you yourself are the dream of Azathoth.

Azathoth is pure fiction, even Lovecraft the creator of Azathoth said he is just fiction.

"All of existence is Azathoth's dream."

Taking the whole, "we live in a simulation" to a whole new meaning.

Funfact lovecraft never wrote that azathoth dreams reality. It's just a misscinception

The “evidence” for Azatoth you put forward actually undermines your earlier point that Lovecraft dreamed of Azatoth. He was aware of the Gnostics and more importantly was a fan of Lord Dunsany’s Gods of Pegana, from which he more or less stole the concept for Azatoth.

I love that Michael Kirkbride worked this into the Elder Scrolls video games (Azathoth = The Godhead and the Godhead's dream, CHIM = realizing you are a part of the Godhead's dream, but as a part of the Godhead, you have power and control over the dream, and Amaranth = transcending the dream and existing within a realm of pure mind.)

Correction.

Azathoth does not dream our reality, thats actually a misconception between a different writer that was inspired by lovecraft around the same type both writers were making their universes, in the other writers universe, there was a humanoid god who dreampt reality. But Azathoth would not destroy reality by waking up, he would destroy reality by killing everything.

(Edit: The thing that makes up Love crafts World is also called Yogsototh, also known as the grand archetype. It literally is every atom in the setting.)

My first and only mushroom trip I found the Creeping Chaos/the Dreamer/The Mad God in the deep dark. Also the Holy Trinity who is an extension of Him. I’m writing a book about the experience. It was horrifying and beautiful. Creation is Madness.

Ambrose Bierce created Hastur in the 1891 cosmic horror novel, 'Haïta, the Shepherd'. Two years before Lovecraft was born. "The King In Yellow" by Robert W. Chambers in 1895 was also cosmic horror before Lovecraft.

It's one thing to be aware, and completely different thing to escape it... Much like lucid dreaming, it is possible to know that you are in fact dreaming, but even if you wake up, that version of you is left behind, within that fucked up world, that you find so absolutely bizarre only after you've left it, and fleetingly still able to remember it.

I've been binge watching since finding your channel. This was the most eye opening I've watched to date. Mind officially opened and awake! The two thoughts I had that randomly appeared while listening were The Sleeper has Awakened from Dune and the song Silent Lucidity from Queensryche-the lyrics make me think someone had inside gnosis.
This is great material thank you!!! 😊

Fun Fact: Calculus, known in its early history as infinitesimal calculus, is a mathematical discipline focused on limits, continuity, derivatives, integrals, and infinite series. Isaac Newton and Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz independently developed the theory of infinitesimal calculus in the later 17th century. By the end of the 17th century, both Leibniz and Newton claimed that the other had stolen his work, and the Leibniz–Newton calculus controversy continued until the death of Leibniz in 1716.

It was amazing taking part in this premiere of this video 🔥🖤✨ You are such a good speaker and it is captualizing to listen to you. I learned also some new information on this, and I now know that I am Azathoth because Azathoth is all and all is Azathoth. And the only way to make others conscious about this is to wake them up due to them not realizing who they actually are. Thank you Morgue, very enlightening information and well presented 🔥✨

Its been theorized for centuries that when we die, we simply wake up, some theorized we die and then wake up as "new gods" some theorized nothing happens when we die, others we simply begin our lives anew inside a new vessel or rather perhaps....dream. the video game known as bloodborne actually plays with most of this concept if not all of it entirely; especially considering how each of the "awakened" endings play out and it actually rather very well explains how the whole concept works if you can actually follow what its telling you and comprehend it. Take for example the "insight system" while the "consumption of eyes" is a metaphor for your character realizing "new truths" and accepting them; the more the world around him alters and reveals truths he could not see and comprehend before and ultimately when you have "accepted" the truth to every level, you awaken as a "new god". its story centers around a dream and the game tasks you with finding a way to end it ultimately ( i have not played old hunters so please no spoilers )
