Do Gaming Mice Really Matter | Do You Need A Gaming Mouse For PC :
This video aims to answer the questions of weather or not PC gaming mice really matter and if a gaming mouse can improve your aim or provide any extra value compared to regular computer mice.
Many people wonder how big of a difference gaming mice actually make, and is it really worth it to pay for an expensive "gaming" mouse when you one you have now seems to work perfectly fine? In other words do gaming mice really matter? To answer this question let's take a look at why people turn to gaming mice in the first place.
I go over what's different about a PC gaming mouse, answer the question of if buying a gaming mouse is worth it, explain the effects it has on your gameplay, and more in this video.
What is a gaming mouse? Gaming mice use internal parts that are super durable. Gaming Mice are also designed to have less friction resulting in a better glide across mousepads. This is important because it provides consistency which is key in improving your gaming skills. As with regular mice, gaming mice come in all kinds of shapes, sizes and weights. This is a preference that differs from person to person as people have different hand sizes and ways of gripping the mouse. But Gaming mice are designed with shapes that are not only comfortable but also ones that are meant to provide good leverage to help improve mouse aim. And most importantly gaming mice have superior sensors that offer better tracking. This video covers this, discusses if gaming mice really matter and also the differences between a gaming mouse vs regular mouse.
When determining if gamming mice really matter there are multiple things to consider but if you're wondering if changing from your current mouse to a different mouse make you play better or if you need a gaming mouse at all then I'll say this: When first starting out one of the easiest ways to improve your gameplay is to get a gaming mouse because of the simple fact that without a decent sensor you will never reach your full potential. With that being said at the higher levels of play because everyone already uses gaming mice with good sensors finding the right mouse for them isn’t going to be the same jump as a new player going from an office mouse to a gaming mouse, still that doesn’t mean it’s not important for advanced players to try new gaming mice. When you’re at this level of play you’ve likely done almost everything else you can to get better and already have your own practice routines etc so the only thing that remains is to fine tune the little extra push you can get from finding the gear that best suits you. If you want to know how to find the best mouse I'll be making a video on that in the future.
So, should you buy a gaming mouse and do gaming mice really matter ? If you’re serious about PC gaming and you play FPS games getting a gaming mouse is something I’d highly recommend. Even if you do this as a hobby it’s still a much better experience. If you’re going to be using a mouse for several hours on end for years to come you might as well invest in getting a good one. But don’t expect to become a pro just because you buy a gaming mouse. Think about it more as something that unlocks your potential.
