I’m leased a 2021 Acura RDX A-Soec and never had a single problem with it. Put over 50k miles on it and Never had to replace break, tires not a damn thing other than oil changes. Most reliable car I’ve ever had

I’m on my second RDX (2021 Aspec and now 2022 Aspec Advance) and my 6th Acura overall....none of this has ever happened to any of my vehicles.

I don't know dude what’s wrong with your rdx

but my 2020 rdx has 282 thousand highway miles
and I haven't changed anything serious yet,
only engine oil every 8 thousand miles,
, 3 times transmission oil, 3 times brakes pads, and rotors, and tires 3 times that all,
Acura is an excellent vehicle!

All in all, these problems are relatively minor (except for the limp mode one). I have a ‘19 RDX and haven’t had any of these.

I had the key “problem”. It turns out in my case that the metal from my phone and wallet would interfere with the signal. If you can have a dedicated pocket for your key it is significantly more reliable.

Regarding the door not unlocking.. I found the issue has to do with NFC interference. Make sure key fob is not in the same pocket or purse as your smart phone, and you will have no problem unlocking the door.

53k on my '21 Acura RDX, only issue so far is the sunroof pops on occasion, going over the short curb of the driveway. Been super reliable. Love this car.

The fact that these are the issues flagged confirms I want to upgrade my 2007 to a 2019 RDX. All of the “issues” seems intermittent and not a big deal

Did not have any of these issues with our ‘20 A-Spec. We did have issues with the sound system, all cables and some modules where changed under warranty.

Every issue he just listed is child’s play compared too all the issues these german cars can have

I have this vehicle (2021 a-spec) and have literally NONE of these issues... So take that info into account.

I have 70, 000 miles on my 2019, and it's a pretty good car, CMBS might be a nuisance occasionally otherwise it's all good.

nice video, and I must say, compared to many other vehicles out there that are considered luxury that's not a bad top 5 bad things that "could" go wrong with the RDX, makes me feel even better that I got one albiet a base model, although at least I splurged and got one with SH-AWD, just wish I had an A-Spec model, damn those things look good on the road!

Most if not all of these problems have been resolved, the 22-23 model years are updated.
Gotta love the Acura bashing going on here.

To be fair, the 10AT transmission is mechanically reliable. Limp mode is not caused by the transmission itself, but rather, it's caused by an electronic module either overreacting to a small fault or making a false-positive determination, and taking control based on what the module determines. Other Hondas that use the same 10AT transmission have not had limp-mode issues as widespread as this.

The android car play has the same issue with connecting and disconnecting. Annoying especially when using it for gps navigation. Also I don't like how long it takes for the radio to begin playing. Overall a decent car so far.

We have a 2019 since new. Never experienced any of those issues.

Most newer vehicles have a lot of problems, compared to older ones.
