Before the Irish Famine/Blight,
the Irish were the healthiest people in Europe due to eating tons of Potatoes.
You may thank your local First Nations person, who's relatives domesticated 60% of the World's food, including the potato.

The english monarch at the time said to Ottoman empire to only send one boat load of spuds equal to theirs when the intention was to send few boat loads lets not forget!

So I requested that PBS put this back on their schedule for viewers. Apparently, this is still the best they will do. So disappointing!
