Authorities in Oklahoma arrested a teacher accused of being drunk in her third-grade classroom on the first day of school. Police say staff members found her holding a full cup of wine in her classroom — she claimed it was juice. David Muir reports.

I watched the whole video. This woman said she had been in counseling and was on anxiety meds. When they ask her to call her husband to come pick her up, she was dead set against that idea. What would make you not wanna call the one person you’re supposed to trust? Obviously there’s a lot going on in her life. My heart goes out to her. I hope she’s able to get help and to get everything together. Prayers.

If you see the video they tried to be patient, she's obviously not well, but she kept arguing with them about calling a ride, and tried to wipe out her cup. The cop was actually really trying to save her the embarrassment

She needs rehab not jail. What's going on in school's today is enough to make you drink. IDK why but I feel for the woman. I hope the officials give her a chance to retire and not just fire her. Let her leave with some dignity. ❤

1989 math teacher Mr Green but we called him Peter Green. He always had a big cup and he would slip into his office several times a day to refill. The school knew but turned a blind eye to it because they was glad to have someone teach our mean asses. He was always drunk by 4th period but he was the best teacher ever and we loved that old man.

Heck a few of my teachers back in the late 1970s were either buzzed or high and nobody batted an eye or was harmed 🙈.
