I live in LA and everyone asks if my 11-month shepsky is part coyote! She has tons of energy, is very curious and smart as heck. We've had her for 8 months, I'm already in better shape and she is sweet, playful and protective. Loves everybody-- this dog is such a gift. Thanks for your videos, I relate!

We just got a puppy. He's 6 months old now. He is everything you said! He is smart, happy, FULL OF ENERGY, and LOVES being with everyone in the family but also independent, and SUPER curious! We love him so much. I'm a runner, but so far he prefers going with my husband and daughter twice a day on walks to park. I think it is because he is so young and wants to look around, stopping to smell and get into something! My in laws had an adult female and took her running with me the day I met her and she was AMAZING! She was so focused and I noticed that she would intentionally get between me and any other humans on our path. Made me feel safe. I begged them to let me have her, but they insisted they wanted a dog that needed that much attention and that full of energy. They believed that the dog would make them get up and be active. Never happened and they gave her away a week after we left! Nevertheless, this beautiful boy fell into our laps and we are completely in love!

I have a German Shepard husky mix shes 9 months old and she looks exactly like yours. She is the sweetest girl we just love her. I also have a pure bred German Shepard (male) and I agree with all your points. She is more curious and fearless than my German Shepard. She listens, but she’s playful and independent. My German Shepard is also sweet but barks more, is more on guard and protective, less trusting of new people, and never leaves your side.

My brother's neighbor had a German shepherd and a husky, they had the paper work to prove they were pure bred. and they had a litter. He paid only 50 bucks for one of the puppies. He looks just like a Germans shepherd, just a tad smaller and vanilla colored. His tail is a huskies tail. His energy never goes away. Extremely playful and very bright personality. He's also extremely protective. Perfect as long as he's not your first large dog. Because he's pretty alpha in personality. 100 pounds in weight, very goofy and silly, but also extremely protective. Very trainable as long as you are an alpha type of person. If you aren't, he'd be a big problem for you. But as long as you're an alpha and experienced with large dogs, he's perfect

Mine was completely white when he was little but around 3 months old he started growing light brown spots on his head, back, back of the back legs and on the tip of his tail.

Great videos. I'm a very keen runner, how old should the dog be before you start running long distances with it. I don't want to hurt it's development by taking it out for a two hour run when it's too young!

i have one . hes a goofball, gets along with pretty much any dog even puppies, cats . farm animals . hes effy around people . hes not a fighter . but he can be a jerk and very procetive
