I work as a service plumber and as a result you get to meet a lot of dogs. Consistently the most friendly and goofy dogs I’ll meet are Rottweilers. I did meet a pig that wanted to sit in my lap while I was working on their sink the whole time but the Rottweilers are usually the sweetest dogs I’ll meet

Both my kids adored our rottie, these 11 years that we had with her now are one of our best memories as a family. As for protection, we were going out at 4 am with her, no worries whatsoever. Nobody ever dared to even come close to us, without her making any noise. Just the look was enough. But they do need firm hand in raising.

One of my aunts from El Salvador had a Rottweiler his name was Rocky and he was the best. Whenever we would go to El Salvador for the summer I met Rocky when he was just a pup, I would take care of him and show him love and he would sometimes fall asleep on my arms. I came to visit El Salvador again for my quince and it was late at night so my other aunt lives next door to my aunt and we opened the gate and Rocky somehow knew I was there. He kept jumping on me he was so excited that I was scared but I knew he wasn’t going to hurt me. Unfortunately he passed away 4 years ago. Rest in Peace Rocky 💞💞💞

my grandmother had a Rottweiler as a service dog and he was fantastic

Best dog I ever knew was my grandparents Rottweiler/black lab cross. He was incredibly sweet and gentle with us kids, and the perfect companion for walking alone in the woods

The only thing is with my Rottweiler he won’t stop eating everything he can find he literally eats dirt, grass, wood and everything

In a good home Rottweilers are simply lovely companions. They need exercise and that gets you outdoors with them.

We thought our puppy was a german shepherd black lab mix but we recently found out she is part german shepherd, Rottweiler, and Siberian husky which makes WAY more sense considering her behavior and personality haha. She has a Rottweiler face, body of a GSD, and talks to us like a husky

Our Neighbours always had Rottweilers, this is such a sweet and lovely breed.
And their ears are so soft!
