Exercising your rights will never be used against you in court. It just wouldn’t hold up, there’s a reason we have them. If using your rights could be used as evidence of guilt in court then there would be no point in having those rights in the first place

I've done time for stuff I didn't do. When my parents went missing my uncle had me arrested just so he could end up with the estate and it took a year to fight the charges. This lawyer is absolutely right and if you choose not to listen cool that's on you but he's absolutely right.
