A rule of thumb, anyone who tries to put you down is problematic. There should be mutual respect and supportive for growth.

Honestly, thank you for making this. My father is a narcissist but I’ve been raised to where I didn’t even know what most of this was in detail, with clear definition. I can see a lot of what he was doing.

0:29 I would not be surprised if someone took their life not knowing whether they are abused (call me paranoid, but I suspect gaslighting at societal level since 2020) or whether they have gone insane, because neither is very appealing.

Thanks for the video. Now I'm informed. However, at the same time, people also need to realize that sometimes the other party may not realize they're doing those things unless said. They also may not really know or understand what these tactics are not that it makes it okay but at the same time you also gotta give people grace and make your needs and wants known.

Social isolation tactics aim to control individuals by cutting them off from their support networks. Downplaying concerns manipulates others by dismissing their worries, while humiliation and bullying tactics use aggression to assert dominance.

What about D.A.R.V.O and invalidation?

I think that many people who have been submitted to these abuses remain silent because (they think that) nobody would believe them. Hence, they socially isolate, which leads to other issues.
