I checked mine and it stayed blue as well. Radiator and cap seems to function like it should. My exhaust sounds like it’s clogged up to. Gonna get new exhaust soon

Yeah, that heat shield looks too thick. There are better form fitting repros available. I still have my factory original heat shield on my 83, which has the same setup as yours. I also had my head gaskets replaced a couple of years ago. I noticed that your alternator isn't stock. Is that one of those 3G alternators? How do you like it? Are they really as good as I've heard?
