I never believed in this stuff. My dad used it once like 15 years ago and he had a blown head gasket. The fucking thing still takes him to work everyday. I still dont have alot of faith but it worked that one time 😄

I have always said that there is no mechanic in a plastic bottle or can. But there is a genie mechanic in this blue plastic bottle. For I was going to take out the passenger head . The night before I was to do this unwanted work, out of the blues a great mechanic of my dads best friends R.I.P. to both of them . Said to use the blue Devil repair and it worked ! 8 years have passed and it sealed it for good !

Seeing a lot of comments about how hard a head gasket is. Yes it is a difficult job, but learning to properly repair your own vehicle gives you a sense of pride. Sometimes even the potential for a career to fall back on

Used the same stuff in an e350 box truck, it had a thick cloud of white smoke behind it. Tried it out and it worked beautifully. The fans started blowing out hot air after about an hour. Worth every penny and then some!

It’s good stuff to get someone by who can’t afford to pull the head and fix it properly. I’ve seen it work for many years.

My friend used a stop leak for his radiator on a 2008 Buick Lucerne same brand, Blue Devil, i had no expectation that it woukd work. While the engine was running steam was coming out of the driver side of the radiator. He let it idle for a while and then drove it for a couple of worked, doesn't leak a drop now. 4-18-24 update, it started leaking again after a month or so.

In my experience, the only time I have used this was on a 4.7 AWD jeep and it worked. My dad daily drove it for 12, 000 miles then we sold it. To this date it still runs because I see it around. 😅

I guess everyone hear has plenty of resources to buy a new car or thousands of dollars for repairs. I have a work Van with 100k plus miles on Blue freaking Devil

Blue devil.... I did that to my 86 Isuzu rodeo on its last legs. I followed the instructions. It worked. But I was planning to buy a new car.
A last ditch fix.

Blue devil is a great product! It saved my Jeep, and lasted another 20k miles. I'm getting ready to do another treatment tomorrow

Mechanic HATE that crap.... when the vehicle needs the head gaskets replaced for real, they will curse whoever used those fake repair liquids.

Do what it says and it will work. Wait the full 45-60 mins and it does the trick. Works well to buy you time before you fix the head gasket properly.

Just pop a new gasket on! Never trust a mechanic in a bottle!

There is but one thing to do after you pour this in and that thing is drive it to carmax

In 50 minutes I could have the valve and block off to remove and replace the head gasket and 30 minutes to put back together on a 4 cylinder car. A head gasket and new valv cover gasket maybe $50 total. If it over heated and cracked or warped you need a machine shop to Magna flux any way

Then drive straight to the dealer and chop it in for a new car!

If your about to sell car for scrap, might as well try at least cheap version of this stuff. Works best on Toyota for some reason or smaller engines. The first car i did this to a Corolla was blowing crazy white clouds. It eventually worked and put another 150k on car before something else went. I also had success on a toyota 4 runner v6. I tried on 3 American cars with v8 engines and didn't even help even a little. I think they create too much pressure!Actually made it worse and some types gets messy. You can clean out when doing head gaskets. Most importantly gotta take thermostat out, let it heat up to normal temps, let cool all the way down, repeat up to 10 times if it gets better each time. I had a equinox head gasket start to repair but ultimately didnt hold up because of type of gasket failure. That failure was allowing hot exhaust gases in the coolant. It was just too much pressure for it to handle. Had to just fix the right way. If you got a 4 banger or a inline 6 just read a manual and fix right! Their not near as hard to do as a v6 or v8 with two heads. Even if only one side blows, do both head gaskets. Always check heads if their warped. Get milled if they are. Some places will do for 50 a head, other places want around 100 a head but if you do this extra step it will help make a better seal!

I do think if you have a nice car, you should just fix the right way! If your in a beater trying to get every last mile out of it before junkyard, i say go for it!
