DIY Eye Lightener?

Could putting honey in your eye actually help lighten the color of your iris? Plastic surgeon Dr. Andrew Ordon weighs in on this Internet rumor.

actually, the raw honey did work and i don't know what the hell they're talking about getting eye infections when organic, raw honey has disinfecting properties and there is a small trace amount of hydroxide which has lightening properties. however, it needs to be used on a consistent basis. and the only reason why I fount it effective is because I used honey/chamomile eye drops for an eye infection and it went away but then slightly lightened the infected eye.

I did this a year ago..it worked. Honey can heal eye infections and I used it to lighten my eyes because I didn't like mine so dark, and guess what it worked, obviously it doesn't turn blue or green but it got shades lighter 🤗

Like stfu as someone with brown eyes I hear constantly how beautiful blue and green eyes are but never brown eyes and when someone actually does comment on how brown eyes can be beautiful as well, it's never the shade of brown that mine are. I wanna change my eye colour and it kills me that I can't. What kills me most is that my mum has blue/green eyes and my dad has hazel eyes so the potential was there ffs

Eye color CAN change. There is already research done on the body changing eye color all by itself, due to changes in the endocrine system. It is like hair color. No coloration is going to be permanent. It's just like a default setting. My eyes are dark brown in winter, light brown in fall, and green in summer. I've even taken comparison photos in the same room, same lighting, and same camera. Your genes always change, and so can your eyes if you would like.

Honey has been used for ages as an antiseptic, mix that with apple cider vinegar and water and now you have something with a punch, and quite a sting, yet very beneficial for the eye, gave this to my friend with pink eye, gone in three days. My sister did this DIY herself and her eyes actually got lighter its a lighter brown now. Im so jealous because she gets alot of compliments on them. You have to use raw unflitered honey and dilute it with water to activate it.

I've always thought dark eyes had more life in them, more sparkle. Blue eyes can be real pretty too but a lot of them are kind of weak looking, or dull.
