The Two Ingredients Chris Recommended were:
Baking soda & water
Mix 2 Tablespoons of baking soda & 1 teaspoon of water make paste. Apply to skin under eyes. Air dry for 5 mins.
Wipe off w/damp cloth. Calms inflamation

I've been drinking bone broth every day for a few months and one unexpected benefit of all that collagen is that the bags under my eyes have improved greatly! I think the collagen has strengthened the membrane that holds back the fat pads under the eyes.

The baking soda trick works okay. It works better when you substitute water with brewed coffee (cold, of course).

One caution about the baking soda hack--make sure you completely blot away the paste otherwise you will end up with a gritty white residue under the eyes.

My mother used Baking Soda paste under her eyes every day this was in the 1970s and yes it works.

I’ve never used baking soda and water for eyes, but it’s an old home remedy for bug bites as well. The wonders of baking soda!

Thank you! I forwarded this to my mom since she's been battling this issue for a very long time. Very interesting about the baking soda. Baking soda with hot water formed into a paste and put on spider or other insect bite works to drain out the poisons and calm the itchiness. I leave it on as long as possible then rinse off.
