We had the great pleasure of visiting @wasabigrowersuk in Dorset and harvesting one of the plants. We cooked every single part as the whole plant is completely edible.

This guy has unmatched potential at showing things at the palm of his hand. The tattoos draw perfect complementary circle around any object he shows. Incredible.

Most “wasabi” sold in US is fake. A mixture of horseradish and coloring. But real wasabi is delicious!

I'm plants person in Japan and I must say this is truly Wasabi🌱
This beautiful farm's environment is perfect.
Even wild wasabi growing in Japanese mountain would want to move here.

The time and effort into your content is spectacular. I found it very refreshing to hear the wasabi farmer speak about his trade with such passion, great video 👍🏻

I was at an izakaya in Fukuoka and my coworker was good friends with the owner and she just gave us a fresh wasabi root and grater with our food. It was amazing. I've been living in Japan for 13 years and been to plenty high-end sushi places but just tasting some of the freshly grated wasabi on its own was a whole different experience.

I recently bought a large plant from these guys. Planted into a simple aquaponics setup in the most shady spot in my back garden. Never had real wasabi so looking forward to harvesting my own in about 2 years time

Love your videos I live in a small community in America and I turn my yard and cement slab into a garden every year. And I grew mushrooms inside for years. This is the first year I’m gonna try to take my jars outside and do them in my garden.

I truly hope this guy lives forever. He's everything that's right and seems like a genuinely good person to associate with.

I have a commercial indoor cultivation setup and have a familiarity with hydroponics. It would appear that Wasabi would do well in a hydroponic setup but the time to mature is far longer than any plants to which I'm accustomed to growing. Really love all your videos and appreciate your commitment to zero-waste practices.

I got my wasabi plant from the Wasabi Company! Had it three years! Not possible to give it too much water although I agree slugs are a problem!! I snip a leaf now and then for a spicy addition to a salad or as a garnish 👌🏽

*I absolutely LOVE the aesthetics of wasabi/cress farms. Reminds me of brisk autumn days when I was a kid wandering around the woods with my brother. Come across a small stream in the shade, moss, leaves, stones, the clean crystal water slowly passing us by. It’s like… a bedroom for a forest spirit type of thing. Just quintessential vista of a forest stream turned up to 11.*

I love that this guy is so open about how he does this. There's a dude in the USA that will only show you how this is done if you give him $10, 000.
