I watched a video with a wasabi master and I love how he’s not snobbish against “fake” wasabi. Instead, he’s happy that some people can still get to experience the flavour of wasabi even though it’s fake since, aside from the fact that it’s hard to get, it’s expensive asf.

I went to a sushi restaurant and ordered sushi. They come after a while with the stuff we ordered and I'm like huh I don't see Wasabi (green paste) then they're like: oh this is it (actual WASABI) I was so shocked to see actual Wasabi it's so expensive
