I can’t wait to test out the streaming device they are coming out with. I stream old school arcade/consoles on Twitch. I have used everything from the Elgato stuff to cheap Amazon capture cards. I am hoping it plays well with Mac’s

The StreamerX is quite interesting! I actually have seen a device that does what that does, kind of at least. Its the iogear Upstream Pro Dual. 2 HDMI inputs and an XLR input. Also RCA output. Downside is it needs a phone or tablet to control it (unless its just used like a capture card and mixer without wanting to make any adjustments) since it doesn't really have any hardware controls on it. But its pretty neat! The StreamerX looks way more user friendly though, and access to Unify really helps it out too. Can't wait to see more on these!

Hmm has ne tempted to sell my rodecaster 1 and my Atem blackmagic and getting the streamer x . Seems to solve both problems in one . This is interesting. Now i feel i wasted money in buying all that gear back in the day. 😢

the only problem that rode doesn't get yet and im sure they will is that if you're going to cater toward gamers (streamers) they really need to provide more physical inputs (line in/out and even optical) that is the main reason people haven't ditched goxlr. other than that rode is doing great things
