Mine wasn’t the Indigogo model and the switch on the right of channel 2 limiter is mic/phone selector switch, when phone is selected, the Channel 2 gain pot is used for the phone and the line in gain pot is just for the stereo input on the bottom

Audio hissing in a wireless lav system is usually RF interference either from intermod distortion between multiple TXs although he said freqs were mathematically placed, or from external sources like a DTV signal or remote focus control TX. But A10s are digital so normally there is either perfect audio or no audio, analog RF is where I hear hissing if there is an RF problem.

On that centrance device that stereo knob perhaps regulates stereo image between regular input and USB. Otherwise it would appear to be not functioning

Thanks very much for answering my question Curtis. It’s definitely a good soulution, although it would be ideal to have stereo input and output in both ears for zoom calls. I think I can achieve that functionality with my Yamaha mg10xu mixing board, but unfortunately that gives reduced audio quality and recording options. Ahh…audio! So many compromises! Thanks again Curtis. Hope you and your family are all well, Andrew

Mark Ulano has done production sound with Quentin Tarantino for the last 20 years and has never had one line ADR’d !! QT does whatever is needed for sound on set so that there is no ADR needed. This preserves the original actor performance which he claims can never be recreated in the ADR studio.

This may be a silly question for you but if I want to use the Tascam Dr 60 mark ii with a XLR shotgun mic (MKE 600 Senheisser) on my pocket 6k that has a mini XLR input to record audio directly to the camera, How will I connect The tascam recorder to the pocket 6k since all I see is a 3.5mm out on the recorder ? Basically I want to record directly to the camera and not separate. Is it even possible ?

I would love to learn something about analog-sound-movie-recording from the beginning of last century til the 1990/2000. Does anyone knows some educational material on this?
