This still will remain the perfect scene of this entire series for me. From the sequence of Rainbow starting to play when Roy is with the pundits, to grunting at the kids, and the crescendo when Higgins sees his wife in blue. Absolutely cannot be topped!

Roy limping from his knee injury the entire journey until he is stood in the tunnel ready to walk out in front of the fans - to then compose himself and confidently walk, limp free to the dugout.

Subtle but beautiful nod to Roys need to be seen as a hard man despite his sensitive core.

One of the things I love about this is the editing associated with the music cues. When Higgins sees his wife, we get the "have you seen her dressed in blue?" as a visual reminder of the story he told earlier in the episode. When Roy is headed onto the field the dampening and then the rush of the crowd, and the music. Roy's true love is the pitch, and he missed it. And then the dissonance of the violin when Nate sees that Roy is here. He's feeling pushed out, and unvalued, and his trust in Ted is faltering.

Whoever is in charge of the sound design and the editing deserves and award. This is beautiful.
