You look fabulous! I use an Agency .05 tretinoin formula 3 to 4 nights a week. It’s too strong to use on my neck chest so I use Narurium Retrinal there. I love that you can use the same product on your face and neck. I occasionally get peeling and have often wondered if lowering the dose and using every night a week would be just as effective if not more effective. Peeling is not attractive!

ACH. Tragedy. I knew you were going to say only available in the UK. It sounds like a great product. Ive used Curology and Agency here in the US and it’s just too strong. I need baby amounts, specifically dosed or my skin cries for mercy. Keep us updated if they develop a distribution base in the states.

I’ve been using Skin + Me since they launched in the UK. They are brilliant and so affordable. 2 years ago I had a sun spot appearing darker on my face during the summer, despite wearing sunscreen. So last summer I went to their purely Niacinamide + Azaelic acid formula for the summer and went back to the tretinoin formula. My formula stopped at 0.015% tretinoin but I think they can do stronger if you do a checkup with pictures and say that you aren’t happy with the results. For me it’s perfect, I don’t need anything stronger yet.

Yep, this personalized micro-dosing or “compounded” / personal formulation is the way to go … for the first time in years I had a major reaction this winter to my .05% Tret (our of no where ) and gad to put the beaks on all activities and then all skincare…
I really need to find a pharmacy that will assist & help titrate my way back up … not easy in the US. I’m currently I’m using Retinaldehyde to slowly ease myself way up to my .05%. Great video

Hi Mary, where do you get tretinoin in Ireland? I have gone to 3 derms and they will not prescribe tret for anti-ageing .. only if you have acne .. so I am finding it really hard to move up from retinaldehyde .. I am using the geek and gorgeous retinal at the highest strength now for over a year .. am ready to move on, but no one will prescribe it to me!!!

I have been with dermatica for a few years but I am still struggling with peeling and dryness. Cannot get up to 0.1% without a lot of reactions despite following all their recommendations so I have to drop down in strength etc etc. Anyway I have been toying with trying out skin and me for some time….I think you have just given me the push I need.

Hi mary yes im on the Tretinoan train but with Dermatica its taken 9 months to get to the high dose and in the beginning i nearly stopped after 2 month's, i felt like id been sunburned tightness and peeling, but i backed off and slowed it down. I went up to high dose 2 months ago and have slight peeling around chin and nose but its getting less especially since Gemma at pampered wolf said to put tret on after a layer of moisturiser, the sandwich technique i believe, thats made a huge difference. Oh my the things we do, be boots no7 new range next if it proves effective. X

Just wish we could get this service in Ireland. My skin currently reacting to a moisturiser I used. Cant use my Tretnoin. Could use 0.1 avoiding my cheeks. 🥵

Tret gives me no issues but niacinimide destroys it lol so crazy how different all our skins are. I can’t even use it in sunscreen .
