They work so so, tried them 15 yrs ago or when ever they first came out maybe 20 yrs ago

...hahaha...these things are great...y0ur golf buddies won't know..unless you tell them..I'm 69 y/o and shot my best score....my issue was driver yips..with this was letting it go...placebo effect???...will keep using these then try w/o....

any tape covering the face will likely help take spin off the club and go lower and farther. Beware this when testing new clubs when they put tape on the face to protect it, the distance will be greater and may fool some eager consumers.

No test control with the driver. You needed to hit a couple of shots, at least, off a low tee without the cover to validate whether or not the extra distance was due to a low tee (which will impart less backspin) or the cover.

They reduce spin. Hacky golfers hit down and spin it too much. So they lose distance in that way. Hacky golfers would do better to hit low spin balls — TopFliite rocks.

I’ve tried them multiple times. Lost yardage in every case. Think about it. They actually provide a cushion. That in turn means less rebound off the face of any club.
