If "Rango" has taught me anything, it's that solving a problem with a single bullet is the mark of legends.

As an animator (specializing in visual development and rigging), there is so much about this series. 3D is NOT easy. And to make it so expressive and exaggerate emotions and movement to replicate a 2D style is beyond impressive. I'm in love with this style

0:07 Vash dodging 4 shots point blank and not even blinking. Cold af🥶

At 0:30 you can pretty clearly hear the call and response of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

Absolutely incredible.

My favorite part about this scene is that when he's lining up the shot you can see the fear and urgency in his eyes and face. It really frames Vash's character that drawing his gun for any reason in earnest is something he despises doing.

the ost slaps in this scene for real, it's like a mix of western and jazz music and it feels just right for this anime

Damn, they actually managed to make 3D animation work. I might actually give this a watch.

0:07 This was the moment in the reveal trailer that made me realize that this was a show I needed to watch. It's one thing to Dodge bullets from a decent distance. It's another to Dodge 4 shots at point blank

So ive rewatched the first 2 episodes over and over again, and noticed all the details for the gun mechanics, they got it down to the detail of the firing sequences. Each time a gun fires, you can see the initial primer explosion before the bullet exits the barrel. Its most noticeable in the slo mo where <___> fires his pistol.

Vash has always been amazing, can you imagine the calculational speed he must have to predict the ricochettes result from one bullet into a large rock to take out dozens of falling bombs.

I've seen plenty of 3D animation that looks about as smooth as Sandpaper, but this 3D is in a league of its own. This is silky smooth quality.

When I realized it was Studio Orange, same people who made BEASTSTARS, I was so relieved

We all know the og is always going to be a classic legend. But this is also good, and as a 2D anime fan the 3D here is better than most.

Jazz and Space Wild West, a match made in heaven.

Of couser the cgi is so smooth and awesome. It's the studio that made Houseki no Kuni we are talking about here. I never doubted that the cgi would have end up very well made.

Hopefully he'll remember to get more ammo after this

This is the scene that got me into Trigun, I never even knew it existed until this scene, it just showed up on YouTube one day and I was blown away, that afternoon, I was signing up for CrunchyRoll.

The animation, the fact that Vash dodged 4 point blank shots so smoothly, the added tension of him lining up that one shot, with a 22 cal bullet, which are tiny, he needed to have superhuman accuracy to hit that rock, is just absolutely amazing and badass. ❤😎

I swear this show completely changed my opinion on 3D anime. Never thought I would enjoy it that much
