we went in June and yeah didn't see much of Mt fuji. However we had the absolute best time even in the rain and some of our favorite moments had to do with the rain on magical streets in cities like Osaka and hiding from a mini-cloud burst in a buddhist temple in Nagasaki. There is a lot that's magical about Japan in rainy season.

Lol… SO true! We had to wait for the COVID restrictions to be lifted to install “Believe! Sea of Dreams” in Tokyo DisneySea in August of 2022. We were rehearsing outside in the marina backstage and had to keep bags of ice on our heads! Of course it was worth it :-)

That perspective of van life is very skewed. True van life is not setup like taking a vacation. It actually living in a van year round through any and all weather conditions. So call it what it truly is. It’s like taking a vacation in an RV, but just in a van. It’s a vacation in a van, nothing else. Don’t try to glamorize it more than what it is. I’m not drinking the Kool Aid your offering.
