Do they pay for the police academy if it credited by school? And if so can I take a course no n credited by the school with the remaining tuition I have after the police academy? The reason why I ask is bcuz the police academy is credited but not the Anti terrorism course that a private training school that claims to accept the G.I bill

Not correct. MGIB-AD gives you all the cash for school. If school cost 9100$, in tx tuition cap is 15000$ and 1000 pieces for books 1500$ BAH. You keep the remainder to help with cost!!!

Dude do you know if you're allowed to use the student loan forgiveness AND the post 911 GI? I hear if you use the student loan forgiveness, you can't use either of the two GI bills. Thanks

I'd love to hear about the steps you took as you were about to get out of the navy to get set up for success in college, like applying to schools, and also what made you choose the college you're at. How does it work if you want to attend a school that's not in the state you were living previously before joining the military? Does the military pay for all of out of state tuition?
