I've only ever seen one person eating this (me) so maybe it's not to everyone's taste, but try adding mustard to the haggis on the buttered roll. Back in the late 90s, BT's Woodcroft exchange/office (it used to be in Pitsligo Road; long demolished and now private flats) used to have a pretty decent canteen and that's where I first pondered the idea of trying mustard on the haggis. I loved it way back then (I consumed it most mornings) and I still occasionally love it in this century, too! 😀 😀

When last in Scotland (2019) I had an absolutely wonderful haggis pie at The Four Marys in Linlithgow. Worth a wee train ride if you want to try it. 👍🏽

One day if you get to the mid Atlantic area in the USA you have to try scrapple. Very similar to haggis. Make sure it’s crispy. I loved haggis when we went to Scotland 🎉

We were in Edinburgh maybe 10 years ago and had a haggis pie from a baker's shop somewhere up The Bridges. It was like a Scotch pie base filled with haggis, then neeps, and topped with tatties. That was rather nice yum yum !

We had piping-hot haggis “bonbons” with a whisky dipping sauce as a starter at City Restaurant near the National Museum a couple weeks ago. They were absolutely amazing. 10/10.
