Hi Everyone,

You asked me to share some of my health and fitness routine information. So to make my first "Health" video for you, I wanted to share with you my appreciation and benefits that I find from Intermittent Fasting.

Now I do not do this for weight loss benefits....I do them for emotional, scientific and energetic reasons. And I always listen to my body.

This video won't be for everyone and I am sure that some will disagree, but I like to be as open, honest and authentic as possible for you.

So I made this with love, for you.

Also, I tried to find the link on the BBC documentary with Michael Mosley, but couldn't locate it on YouTube. However there are heaps of short clips from the documentary on YouTube.

We Muslims are encouraged to do fasting two days per week(Monday & Thursday) as Prophet Mohamed used to do . we also must fast another 30 days per year (RAMADAN month)..this has been proved to be healthy ...Thx

I didn't even realise I do this sometimes! Now that I look back on the days I've had a really early dinner and didn't eat until late the next morning, I can totally see the difference! Thanks so much for sharing :)

That doco was fabulous. Great medical research backing it up. A few times a week I stop eating at about 5pm and don't have a meal until lunch the next day. I feel so much better since implementing this.

Hi Canna,
Amazing to hear this about intermittent fasting! I have done this since I was about 10 years old but I have never actually told anyone about! I don't know anyone else who does this! I feel so good with it, I would never change my ways! I eat once a day and have saved so much money doing this plus I feel and look good too! It is incredible that this is now a 'thing'. I would have been considered mental if I told anyone 20 years ago! I always knew I was onto something as I have not gained any weight since I was about 16! 😀

I loved this video! I read about intermittent fasting a few months ago and you are right, the research is fascinating! I will definitely be giving it a go when I am no longer pregnant! Thanks for sharing your health and wellness related tips! xx

Very interesting video. I think I will try it. On another note: I am currently almost done day 25 of the minimalism challenge. I'm so happy to be getting rid of things and simplify my life. Thank u for presenting the challenge. I've actually got some of my friends to do it too

Great video Canna, great way to simplify your life and diet. I remember doing this when I was in my 20's. My main reason was to lose a few pounds but the result was that I felt more energetic and free.
