Dungeons and Dragons 5e monk needs some love, because we all know one dnd will not be able to buff monk properly. What are you even doing wizards of the coast. This video is how to make monk good. Ending the monk bad train with this. They will be good without just stunning strike.

I'm so glad my friend showed me this video. Monk always sounded cool to me, but then I saw how weak it was. This felt like a great rework, Improved Dedicated Weapon and Deflect Attacks were probably my favorite additions, personally.

I like incorporating fist/unarmed weapons like knuckle dusters or claws as a Monk weapon so that way the Monk can have some weapon variety, and your rule makes it even better

Honestly I can’t wait for the Kensei monk rework. It’s one of my favourite monk subclasses thematically but it’s kinda underpowered

So, Kensei monk can use ki to make their weapon a +3 weapon if I remember correctly.
Would... Would this boost their unarmed? I assume so. That'd be neat.

I like the idea of improved dedicated weapon, until I remember that I gave my players the equivalent as other items quite often

level 11 monk are alrerady good at this level ... I think they would need something for the early levels
