I just added FP. I hope the way I added it will be okay. My hives are still insulated for winter. I did not pull them a part to add the FP. I put 2 FP on the top supers where there is brood and eggs. I am sure there is more in the deep and other supers below. Then I added a 2'" frame before putting the inner and outer covers on. I left the insulation since it is still in the 40's at night.

Hello,
I see in your video here that you mentioned that you have screened bottoms with your hives, as I do as well.
Prior to your full treatment of formic pro for varroa mites as shown in your video here, did you ever use a sticky board with just one formic pro pad on it (pre-treatment)?
I was told by a very experienced beekeeper to do this method instead because just doing a sticky board by itself for 24 - 48 hours could give you alot of false negatives.

I really like your video here and just wondering if you've ever done a pretreatment prior to a full treatment of Formic Pro.

After doing your first mite treatment shown in this video, once the treatment was fully completed how long did you wait to take the super off that you put on top of the hive for hive expansion during the treatment of Formic Pro?
