Very nice. If our temps didn't fluctuate so much in Ohio I'd probably still be using Formic, but the up and down made it near impossible to get those days below 83-85 to treat when in a Dearth.

Hello Matt Sara and family It was lovely to meet you tonight at Brian"s stream This was fascinating So nice that you can use something that is safe and doesn't upset the bees too much Iam not a bee keeper but do love all God's creatures 🤗Wow did you say 100 ...quick strips take two😁👍

Beekeeping looks a lot like WORK haha! I am curious to see what you think of the Formic Pro and it’s results. I have never used it. Not sure we could use it here with the heat that we experience in the summertime.

Used formic acid last year in August when weatherman predicted temps below 80. I killed about 2/3 of my apiary when temps got too high. It’s now November of next year, and I have low enough temperatures to use formic acid. I had one hive that attempted leaving in about 10 minutes of placement. Took it out and placed the same strip on another hive and it started out of the box. I like the idea of formic, but I’m using more than one method to control varroa

Been open feeding since middle of July here in Northern Iowa. Depending on the fall goldenrod flow To get your bees topped off for Winter Is is not something that I depend on. Normally do OAV But decided to try formic pro on a couple hives yesterday. Interested to see how it goes.
