Around 2006 I purchased a 70 acre farm in the mountains, heavy timber, fishing pond, several streams, small cabin, hand pump well, outhouse, etc.
It was under $200, 000.
People would say, why in the world would anyone want to live there.
In 2014 a real estate agent said she would put it on the market for $499, 900.
Back in 2008 I was in a local walmart, buying dry goods to stock in the cabin.
nothing special, case of canned spam, dry lentils and bags of rice.
Went by the ammo counter, they had plenty of 30-30 winchester ammo.
I keep an old 30-30 lever rifle at the cabin so i thought I should put some ammo back.
Old timer was standing there with me at the ammo counter and we got to talking, those 30-30 winchester cartridges, 20 rds per box, use to go for $ 5.00, told him I know.
In 2008 they were $ 8.00.
So I bought 5 boxes at $ 8.00 per box of 20 cartridges, 150 gr and 170 gr bullets, both priced the same.
I bought 100 rds, with tax was just over $ 42.00.
Some guy walked by and looked in my cart, saw the five 20 rd boxes of 30-30, he smirked, laughed, shook his head and said, what in the world are you going to do with all that ammo?
Just putting back I said, he walked away, still laughing and shaking his head.
Just did a google search for that exact box of ammo I purchased in 2008 for $8.00 per box.
The google search revealed: the ammo is out of stock, back ordered with a price of $ 39.96 per box, and that doesnt include shipping.
I dont trust the banks or the market.
Buy what you know you will need and use.
Yes, have some cash on hand, but when the dollar continues to be devalued, you will lose buying power.
It doesnt take much money to prepare, an ax, a bow saw, hatchet, a sawyer water filter can filter 5 gal of water per day for 20 years.
I still have those $8.00 boxes of ammo, not for sale, but if I come across that guy that laughed at me back in 2008, I might be willing to sale him some, but it wont be for $ 8.00 a box.

What do you do when everyone around you, that you love and want to be prepared. Aren't listening. I want to stock up on necessities, buy gold, convert 401k to commodities. Make real moves to be ready. I see so clear what is on the horizon but all I hear is your watching to many videos. No. I'm trying to learn anything I can to help everyone be prepared. At the same time trying to live as normal as possible. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. Anyone else feeling this way?

In a depression era Spencer Tracy movie. Tracy is playing a detective and a beat cop rushes in and says "there's been a bank robbery". Tracy looks at him and says "who'd the bank rob now?"

Having been a frugal person all my life, I keep money at the house. I don't trust banks.

Lately I've been pulling cash out and using cash only and giving myself a limited budget each month. I find myself more strict with purchasing.

Anything that is in the bank when the crash happens is going to be lost.

I have too much cash in the bank and it bugs me. They get to put it on their balance sheet for loans, etc. I went to take out 10K and they acted like I was robbing the place!

Few years back I was driving home from Phoenix and all the ISPs in Payson AZ was down and had been down many many hours. It was amazing how many people were stuck as the gas stations waiting for it to come back up so they could use a credit card. Don't just have cash at home, carry some with you.

1. Physical Fitness ( no addictions)
2. No debt
3. Food and water storage
4. Cash on hand
5. Survival and medical training, practice and supplys
6. Weapons and training to protect all the rest of the items abd loved ones

And the list can go on but all of these items are in our control.

We had a big tornado outbreak a few years ago that taught me to keep more cash on hand. Power was out up to two weeks in places. Debit and credit cards don’t work when the power and communications systems are down.

I cannot tell you how much I am learning everyday from you. You break it down and make it so easy to understand. I am becoming more prepared every day from your life lessons. Your real---ness is helping us all here! Thank you.

I’m 30 and remember 2008 very well. I was trying to get my first job back at that time. I’ve started my own business, I’m about to pay my wife’s car off. I’m going to sell our other car I used for my last job. Trying to cut all debt out before this winter! Preparing for no work and insane prices. This is going to be so bad it’s heartbreaking, I love how you bring up how people are, they’ll definitely mock you when your only warning them.
I’ve been sharing your videos to my friends, along with others on YouTube.

Have enough cash on hand to pay your property taxes for at least five years and don’t touch it for nothing else

The beginning of the pandemic I walked into my local grocery store and the shelves were stripped bare. I had plenty of cash with me but there was nothing to buy and that has stuck with me still. Food might be money

You are absolutely brilliant at what you do and I just wanted to say thank you! I have been in these circles for a few years now but only came across your videos a few weeks ago but have listened to literally every video since and will most certainly continue to do so.

Again, thank you for all you are doing for those with the instincts attuned enough to know that you are absolutely correct and to be grateful for your work instead of mocking it.

My husband and I have also been trying to warn family and friends about all kinds of related things for years but 95% if it has fallen on deaf ears. Kudo’s to the 5% and to everyone creating and supporting channels like these.

Thank you Ninja 🙏🏻❤️

We keep about a $1000 in cash and have about 300 oz of silver. It amazes me how many people are so engulfed in their day to day and have NO idea what’s going on in government both domesticity and globally. This is why those people will be so overwhelmed when this all goes down. Yes, I am being laughed at but I know my family and neighbors will be ok because of my efforts. God bless Ninja! Keep it up! Keep moving forward. Change is coming. Let’s all hope that we can help a few people when it does. It will be a great awakening!

Thanks for the info. I have been debating getting cash out on hand. Especially after the video you did about banks stopping personal loans! Always a good warning sign for those who look at those things

I didnt forget 2008. I made it, and still in business. 2008 created a layer of skin.

I started watching your channel a month ago and really get a lot out of them. Yes, I keep cash in and out of the bank. I'm stocking up on foods that would not require a lot of water to cook or is easy. We've experience power outages for 4+ days in the winter and it's not a pleasant experience, so we invested in a generator, had a 220 plug installed outside and now we have power when it goes out. Best investment ever, but people need to do this in the summer and not wait till the winter or when power goes out! Last month our community well's pump went out on a Friday and we were without water for 4 days. Not pleasant either! I'm getting a few rain barrels to store water in, as well as 6 gas cans which we can alternate use and it will be ready for the generator. Sorry, a lot of information. But really basics that so many of us put off doing that can make life more comfortable.
