One of the biggest lies banks tell us is that our money grows in our bank accounts! The truth is, while money grows in number because of the interest, it doesn’t grow in value or in real terms. With inflation soaring through the roof, and bank interest lagging way behind, keeping cash in the bank is actually burning a hole in your pocket.

Just what I needed to watch.
My wife and I are directors of our farm business and own property, plus small pensions. I am nearly 55, my wife is 52.
We have started to save to retire from the farm, and possibly live on rental income, I'd really appreciate you go LIVE and talk about how to earn passive income online and retire comfortably, let’s say $1M.

I have 35% of my capital investments in an IRA, 25% in index funds, and the balance spread across other investment accts totalling over $250k. I took a big hit in Q2, 2023. Right now i am just looking for ways to recover in 2024.

The rising interest rate can surely control inflation, but won't prevent erosion of the eroding purchasing power of the US dollar. I have learnt my lesson this time. The banks can't be making money off my money, while inflation eats into it. I have set aside 650k to invest in the stock market now, since that keeps up with inflation, but I don't know how to get started.

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.

I already own shares of PALANTIR, TSLA, NVDA and APPL as well. Sure, I don't mind having these equities sit around for a while, but I'd also like to appreciate short-term opportunities that could fetch $200, 000 or less.

Increasing interest rates are going to continue to increase bank failures because it puts their commercial paper and treasuries underwater. They need to freeze interest rates to prevent a deep recession in the economy. At the same time the White house needs to help industry to increase gas and oil output to reduce fuel prices. The war on oil only serves to increase energy prices which trickles out to the rest of the economy as inflation. Lowering interest rates, tightening the money supply, reducing government spending and increasing the cheap supply of fuel will result in reduced inflation and a booming economy. Presto, no inflation and no recession. Of course there are a lot of other agendas out there that will never let all of that happen, so hello recession and sticky inflation.

Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Banks are selling mortgages. People always say it's a good option to buy at discount, but with the market turmoil and everything at stake in present economy, I'm thinking of buying stable coin to hedge against inflation, or is it all right saving over 350k ?

I was told to diversify my portfolio among several assets such as stocks and bonds since this can protect my inherited portfolio of about $2.5m. I’m used to just buying and holding assets which doesn’t seem applicable to the current rollercoaster market plus inflation is catching up with my portfolio. I’m really worried about survival after retirement.

I think investors should always put their cash to work, especially In 2024, we'll start to see more market diversification. I'm hoping to invest about $350k of my savings in stocks against next year. Hope to make millions in 2024

I just 30 this year and have just under $40k in my own 401k and another $10k between my other retirement accounts. My wife has about $41k in her retirement accounts (she is not currently working). I currently make close to $63k a year. I only do 5% though to my 401k for the company match and another 10% of my income is split between an HSA and a ROTH IRA

Buying stocks might seem easy, but picking the right one without a solid plan is tough. I've been trying to grow my $210K portfolio, but the tricky part is not having clear plans for when to buy and sell. Any tips on this would really help.

I'm 48, sad to say I made terrible money decisions growing up which I'm presently paying for, been dedicating every waking hours towards my retirement and I'd really love to retire to Portugal with at least $3million by, the market up and down is not helping at all.

Almost everyone including the media is anticipating a market catastrophe and as a result many are turning a blind eye to the opportunities in the market.

I was told to spread my money across different things like stocks and bonds to protect my $750k retirement savings. Now, with the markets being shaky, should I keep adding money to my portfolio or consider other options?

I am really worried about the current bank crisis/interest rates, these are all the signs of yet another market crash , so my question is do I still save in the United States dollar or is this a good time to buy gold or some other assets ?

I' ve got £100k to invest. I want to build a nest egg for when I'm older. I want to know if it's a good idea to add all my savings into a long term ETF, set and forget Come back in 20-30 years, instead of 250-300 DCA every month. Which ETF would you recommend.?
