This is another example of why the 70's was the most musically diverse, THE BEST DECADE of music!!

Boz is amazing. Love him. This song won best R&B song of 1976 at the 1977 Grammy Awards. This made Boz the first white artist to win that category.

Want to hear Boz’s song about a PIMP? “JOJO”; one of the BEST smooth and funky R&B songs from the era 🔥🔥🔥 I had the pleasure to see Boz live just 2 years ago in Red Bank, NJ. He hasn’t lost a beat; sounds exactly the same.

He's from the 70s. We had such great artist's back then. There is so much more from him. Just the beginning!

Boz is a fellow Texan! He went to school in Dallas and was classmates with Steve Miller, who taught him to play the guitar. He was in The Steve Miller Band for several years.

Went to the best concert in the late seventies when I was eighteen. It was Boz Scaggs, Fleetwood Mac and the Eagles. Was blessed to grow up with this music.

There are a handful of songs that everyone should react to, this is one of them. This is just a badass jam. You gotta watch an earlier version. His voice was awesome when he was younger.

Boz Scaggs is just phenomenal! This song was originally released on the Silk Degrees album in 1976, one of his best albums. Each Boz album is different, some more soul, some blues, some rock, some disco, just a great lifetime of work. I highly recommend checking out more Boz, especially the album "Some Change, " but you cannot go wrong picking any album (except "Other Roads, " that was an outlier for my tastes).

He was huge, all over the radio back in the 70s. Three members of Boz's band co-wrote this with Boz, and the three later went on to form the band Toto.

This puts me right back in dance warm ups in 1978...as I sit with ice on my knee in 2024. Great song. Great memories.

Silk Degrees came out in the mid 70's and gave Boz his most successful run of hits, merging disco, funk and jazz sounds in ways we had never heard before. As others have already recommended, Lido Shuffle needs to be reviewed. Also, one of my favorites of the day - What do You Want the Girl to Do? The album is great top to bottom, even songs never released a singles. For unique sound and not a miss in the bunch I place this album in the rack with Van Morrison's Moondance.
