I totally agree! I realized lately that we also offer ourselves. Because at the end of the day, it's all people. We get paid by expressing who we are and other people pay for us because they enjoy us. I do astrological charts and sometimes I wonder why people choose me and want my service and I realized it's because they love how I express things and the great time I give them.

Excellent advice. Learned the same philosophy when I was working in banking, there are so many banks with exactly the same product and services, what your customers "buy" is you and the service you give, the experience.

I don't like eating out, but there are times when you simply can't avoid it. My husband reminds me when we choose to eat fast food, we are paying for convenience and necessity. I still try to make the best choices possible, but I think that often its convenience that drive-thrus are marketing.
