I collect all the 80s 90s american toys in misb condition throughout my 30s. E.g tmnt ghostbusters mask starcom etc. i own a huge warehouse of it only to realise toys are not worth it. However vintage toys in misb condition gave me good returns in the 6figure networth. But i was lucky i choose vintage toys. Then i started index investing at 39 and start my biz. I was able to turn things around and made 8 figures networth. You can do it.

Consumers has been taken for suckers every now and then. Everyone of us is guilty as charged.
I think the main issue is that we are never truly satisfied with product design. Every single new item will have complains that will fuel the "I want it" mindest....
Toy collecting is all about self control. The deeper you go in, the harder it could be to have self control.
