I would suggest knowing what your surroundings are first, before coloring and shading any tone. For example, if your surroundings have a blue light, then use a warm shadow. There’s also reflected light, and it’s really complex, so definitely use a reference if you’re lost! References are NEVER cheats.

Shading with Ibis paint X is always so hard for me because tutorials that I found online either uses custom brushes that makes my device lag crazy or is too complicated but this... It's justerfect so thank

Basically, lower the saturation and value(darkness), and shift the hue towards red, for a warmer look.

Do the same but use purple-blues for a cooler look.

This should work for all skin tones!

People who don't know let me tell you this applies to only monochrome type of background so if you were to take a white back ground or something warm like orange or yellow this sort of shading is most likely to not work so just remember that!!
