Another thing to add is from what I’ve seen is that darker skin tones tend to be slightly more saturated than lighter ones (tho this is not always the case for everybody) this can help your darker skin tone/black OCs from looking like they have gray skin!!!

ok... I may or may not have had a tough day today, and I may or may not have almost cried when I realized one of my top 3 artists had posted a tutorial video. I feel like I say this a lot in the comment sections of my favorite artists, but this video alone has made my day. Please understand, Blue, that your videos have a place in my heart, and they very much help me in my life. (no pressure lol)

Also, I DESPERATELY needed a render/coloring tutorial for skin. I'm starting to get tired of my drawings having no ~saltiness~ to them xD

Before i found your channel i mainly traced (didnt post anywhere) or used my gacha ocs, now im here sitting trying to find the style im most comfortable with and finally learning how to do stuff on my own

Yes as im wriitng this i have my big sketch pad in front of me full of shapes, anatomy, my attempts to draw side view and a smoll character. funny how i draw both traditionally and digitally (Pain)
