I'm very new to commands through shell ect. Can you please tell me exactly what to type into my shell to get the Movies, TV and Music folders at 1:24 please. Also, I've seen a lot of comments about user permissions, so if that's something i need to change through shell or somewhere else and advice would be well appreciated. Please and thank you. edit: i've set my mount point to /mnt/tank/plex media but cd /mnt/tank/plex media and cd /mnt/tank/plex\media aren't valid.

The /media folder is not visible on the Add Folder when adding library to Plex. It is when doing the mapping step, but no longer visible during the actual Plex library set up. Any idea why?

I'm so confused. Whenever I try and add the source to Plex itself the media folder is greyed out? Is there a setting I've messed up with?

Would like an updated video on how to get Plex & Emby working on the newest Truenas version please?

This older version seems more simple than the current Scale version.

The newer version is a mess. No working defaults just errors like:

"[EFAULT] Failed to apply ACLs to the following paths: 1) /mnt/z3/z3/movies: [EPERM] Filesystem permissions on path /mnt/z3/z3 prevent access for user "apps" to the path /mnt/z3/z3/movies. This may be fixed by granting the aforementioned user execute permissions on the path: /mnt/z3/z3.

Tried to install plex on my truenas core, but it got this error message, what do I need to do to fix it? “Error: plex had a failure Exception: RuntimeError Message: + Acquiring DHCP address: FAILED, address received: ERROR, check jail logs Stopped plex due to DHCP failure Partial plugin destroyed” thanks

Could you please do a video on how to move your Plex server from a windows machine to something like truenas and retain all on the back end data so the movie posters the disruptions any saved times stamps of currently watching stuff like that

When I mount media folder I cannot pick media folder in plex media center. Any idea?
