Don't count your calories

There are three big problems with counting your calories.

If you're trying to lose weight, your very likely dealing with a problem with one or more of these hormones - insulin, cortisol, thyroid, estrogen progesterone, and testosterone.

Counting calories means you're either over-exercising or under-eating two bad things for your thyroid which will slow your metabolism.

It can also add low-grade stress to your life, worrying about food all the time, which is, unfortunately, going to affect your cortisol levels which can also have downstream effects on your insulin and even estrogen or testosterone

Don't Do Cardio

Excessive cardio can increase cortisol levels and suppress thyroid signaling, especially in women. Walking and lifting are superior.

Stop eating nuts and nut butters

Nuts and nut butters are high in polyunsaturated fatty acids, lectins, and other plant defense chemicals. They're often sprayed with some pretty nasty endocrine-disrupting chemicals too

I've actually had clients who've plateaued eliminate nuts from their nutrition and boom, the fat starts falling off.

Nuts like almonds and walnuts should be soaked in water overnight before consuming. This helps in digesting and phytic acid

I don't see how a good 5-7 mile run 2-3 times a week is bad. I'm so relaxed afterwards and it clears out the mental cobwebs.

People that are having problems losing weight, listen to his information. I wish this info had been available a few years ago. Others that do not have trouble losing fat can, and do, eat whatever they want and exercise very hard and shouldn't be telling others what to do who are not at your health level.

Yes, but nuts and nut butters are my healthy snacks, that I gave up the Cheetos and cookies for 🙈. I’m going to try this since I just bought some produce to replace them with. Really enjoy these shorts!

Not counting calories, i agree. But giving up nuts, nut butters, which are good fats, and they are eaten by longevive people around the world and nuts and seeds also are beneficial for your heart.
