Thank you for your interest in our Crime Scene Cleanup, Hoarding and Biohazard Remediation Videos.

The biohazard remediation response team at Bio-Trauma 911, Inc. was called upon to remediate an area of decomposition at an Indiana hotel. The deceased, who is believed to have died from a gastrointestinal bleed, was at the scene for approximately 3 weeks before he was discovered. During this time there was some decomposition, which penetrated bed coverings, carpet and padding. Fortunately biohazards did not reach the subfloor and no treatment under the carpet padding was required.

Our two technicians spent approximately eight hours on scene to remove all contaminants, being careful not to cross-contaminate as they cleaned the scene.

WITH THAT, HERE'S WHAT I'M GOING TO COVER IN THIS VIDEO:

#1: Biohazard remediation of a death scene involving a decomposition. Oftentimes, referred to as "Crime Scene Cleaning", not every scene involves a crime. We like to refer to our services collectively as "Biohazard Remediation"

#2: Our team will be dealing with bloodborne pathogens that can contain viruses and other communicable diseases. Please don't attempt to clean a scene like the one depicted in our video. Call Bio-Trauma 911 or another biohazard remediation company in your area for assistance

#3: This video will show the detailed and time consuming process of breaking down a crime or trauma scene, that may contain large amounts of blood and other body fluids. Our technicians have to be very careful not to cross-contaminate the scene, while keeping themselves safe from sharps and other hazards that could expose them to infectious diseases

#4: This and other videos on our channel may show specific items, some sensitive in nature, related to a crime or death, such as: knives, guns, spent shell casings, bullet fragments, skull fragments, brain matter, blood, the aftermath of a decomposition and more. If you do not wish to see these items, please DO NOT view this or any of our other videos

The fact that nobody cleaned that room for three weeks tells you all you need to know.

That mattress being "salvaged" makes me never want to spend another night in a hotel ever.

If I were the owner of that motel. The mattress would be gone.

If the hotel did not go ahead and replace that mattress then they are ridiculous. Guests deserve better than sleeping on a mattress that had a decomposing body on it, regardless of the mattress condition.

What’s the most appalling thing to me is that he went unfound for three weeks in a MOTEL! How can that be???

If I owned that hotel…..I’d replace the carpet, both beds, all furniture, repaint walls, curtains…..everything.
A dead bodies smell…..gets into everything.

At checkin: Do you have a non-smoking room? And a non-previously decomposed body room?

How in the world did the hotel staff not realize for 3 weeks? I couldn't imagine the smell that was coming from that room.

That's my biggest fear: dying alone and no one noticing for days, weeks or even months. no one who cares looking for me or missing me as my body rots

How is it in a hotel room, someone can go unnoticed for 3 weeks? I truly appreciate the type of work you do!👍

Gives me the creeps to think of sleeping in this room. I think the bed should be replaced anyway.

How does a hotel not check on a room in 3 weeks?! That's crazy!

There must have been a foul smell within 7 days so I can't imagine he went 21 day before being found that's just insane

I’m a paramedic, and I have responded to my share of GI bleeds and I can tell you from personal experience they are the most foul smelling calls. The stench is so bad it burns the inside of your nostrils and the smell stays with you for a long time after. GI bleeds are the worst.

I check under the bed, always. FYI . I've worked in hotels. Those guys did a better job than most house keepers.

And nobody looked for this man for three weeks in a hotel? And nobody smelled the stink of decomposition before? Insane!!!
