I looked for an answer online and found the frozen paper towel trick. While waiting for the towels to freeze, I figured I would check out other solutions. Saw Kelly Galloup. I know that name. He knows stuff. So I watched, taped my two stuck rods, and had them apart before my paper towels were even frozen. I could have dealt with the Reddington Path staying stuck, but my T and T Contact II was concerning, as I'm moving 1000 miles next Thursday. Kelly, you're the man. I owe you big. Thanks for your vids and all you give to fly fishing.
