Hey internet, pro tip: insert a small flathead at the base of the twisted pairs and pull up to straighten and separate the conductors in one move. Saves time terminating big jobs.

If you like a neat workspace, after feeding the strands through twist them together before crimping. That way they stay together in a bunch instead of flying off in eight directions.

Use the Cable sheathing that’s been cut off too straighten the cables, that’s what i’ve always done much easier than having too grab something else or use your fingers.

Wow you boys got it easy these days. Back in the day the tool didn't cut excess off so you had to make absolutely sure you had it right the first time or you had to cut it off and try again. No way to slide excess cable through your RJ-45 back then and just cut it or let the tool do it. Nice to see they've updated the connector and the tools.

I've always found the crimper for the feed through lines wear out very quickly. I prefer the standard style and just cut them to the proper length when trimming.
