Police release footage of how dangerous dogs are seized

West Midlands Police say their team of dangerous dog handlers have attended more than 800 incidents involving an out-of-control dog between 1 April and 31 July and seized 96 suspected dangerous dogs.

The force released this footage of how they seized them.

Dangerous or just scared, ,, he walked peacefully and didn't seem Dangerous he was in his own home police will target people they don't like who have these big dogs first and people that really shouldn't have these big breeds poor dogs that are going to be destroyed because of there incompetent owners 😢 its a very sad dog for dog lovers they should not be destroyed they should go to training schools first to see if there's a possibility of the dogs being able to be saved and put with decent humans beings these breeds are often in the wrong hands but should be given new hope with new owners and full training before an option to destroy 😢😢😢😢

Poor dog the officers sadly haven’t a cue about the dogs state of mind . It was frightened, these officers should get training regarding dogs . Glad officers weren’t coming to arrest me because I was in a frightened state them wires would hurt round my throat

What about their owners? I was barked and chased by a dog, unprovoked attack. But owner just kept it calling back and walked away without saying a SORRY. While i stood there trembling and shaking. Sincethen i don't go for a walk anymore. I change my way when i see a dog. Though i love the cute fluffy little ones.

The trouble is a criminal element of our society have these dogs soully to stop police coming through there doors so fast giving notice to those inside to dispose of and evade police, police will target criminals first and what a sad day for these dogs 😂

The dog is scared shitlesss having strangers strangle it is crazy I suppose that dog was a baby to the these dogs are bread for protection for their OWNERS so ultimately they're going to go aggressive to protect their owners when a stranger walks in 😢so sad..this breed has been aggresvily ostrosised 😭
