I hate this rationale for spending tax dollars. “Oh it’s only 4/10 of 1% therefore it doesn’t matter” very few things the government spends money on equates to a large portion of tax dollars, but if you add those things up it equates to a huge portion of tax dollars. 4/10 of 1% of a trillion dollars by itself is a huge number. You can either justify the spending or you can’t. This dismissive attitude regarding government spending is exactly why we’re in so much debt.
