I've been producing how-to videos for 30 years and have developed an interest in product photography. In researching, this video is the best I've seen. Period (and there are a 'lot' of these out there). I especially like how it wasn't slick and polished, which I know you could have done. Instead it was short, to the point, pure no-bullshit, how to and why. Did well (talent, too).

FYI. lack of B-rolls
EXAMPLE: @ 4:16 and I quote: that's what creates this reflextion you might wanna throw a B-roll clip in there to show us what's really happenning on that piece of glass. Otherwise we can only figure this out in your final product video.

I freaking loved this style of tutorial! It's raw and adapts to the scene as needed. it's not perfect but thats what makes it BETTER! We need more real life tutorials like this one!

A snoot is what you need for that spot light for your key. Really cheap on amazon for a Bowen’s mount snoot for the 300d. Very quality stuff, learned a lot!
