“Didn’t see 1 black person”?
There were 4 black male dancers and 1 black female dancer. 1 black man won silver. Are y’all blind?

I don’t think you actually watched it, if you didn’t see 1 black person 😂🙄

Why do I see all these black people all of a sudden talking about cultural appropriation and culture vultures when those who talk about it don't even be part of the breaking community. Y'all didn't even see the full battles from the olympics or even another battle outside of it and talk shit like that. We've been seeing hella breakers from all around the world with durags on since the 90s and everyone within the community was fine with it. All the breakers showing love and respect to the black community and its culture but those who's outside of the breaking culture just wanna hate for no reason lmao.

As much as breaking and b-boy culture has been appropriated. Hip-hop is not a race based culture.

Graffity, Turntables, Breaking, and the MC all came from a mixed race culture. Did nobody watch the movie "Breakin"?

Not only did she take a spot from someone else that can actually breakdance and loves doing it, but she also single handedly made sure breakdancing will NOT be back to the Olympics in 2028; let that sink in. She also doubled down and said it was done on purpose to TEACH others they can just do whatever they want...I wish I was joking.

First, dance styles don't belong to one culture. You don't see white people get upset when a black person joins their line dance. Second the durag was invented to tie down hair for factory workers, as well having the additional benefit of preserving hairstyles, like waves and braids. The break dancers were using the durag to tie down their hair and it also makes it much easier to spin on their head. They used the durag correctly by tying down their hair. That's not cultural appropriation. If it was cultural appropriation for someone to use something correctly even if it was popularized by another race, then every single person would be culturally appropriating everything. Third, there were several black break dancers in the Olympics. I have a feeling you didn't watch it at all and just wanted to be made at other races. Lastly, all the sports in the Olympics were popularized by some races more than others, and the equipment used is popularized by those races as well. No one else claims black people are appropriating anyone's culture by participating in sports and using equipment correctly.

An easy example is how you are wearing a cowboy hat. Cowboy hats were invented and popularized by white people and some Hispanics. Notice how we don't get mad at you for this even though, by your definition, you're "appropriating our culture."
