What makes it worse is there's actually a huge breakdancing community in Melbourne, probably Sydney too. Like proper competitive breaking. Clearly no research was done by the Australian Olympic Committee or who sorts that shit out. What an embarrassment.

As someone from the UK who has always loved the historical rivalry between us, often being beaten across all disciplines of sport over the decades by our antipodean rivals. I'm absolutely incandescent with rage that the Aussies managed to sneak the ministry of silly walks into the Olympics under our noses... I will not sleep until the ministry of silly walks, and the being slapped with a fish in the face whilst holding a dead parrot gold medals are returned to us! My daughter is already in training...
