How To Dry Mint in The Oven - Oven Drying Herbs

Drying mint in the oven is relatively quick, as in hours, not days and if you organise yourself to do it on a day you're cooking, you can use the residual heat from the oven. That would make it free and free is good!

This is a method of drying mint for tea if you like and is a way to dry herbs quickly.

Mint grows like mad in the summer and the conventional oven dry method is a faster method than air drying.

Nice! My friend and I were out camping this weekend, and he had brought dried mint leaves which we made tea out of. I've never drunk that before, but I thought it was delicious. I just asked my girlfriend to buy a mint plant at the store, and I'll be testing it later! Thanks for the easy explanation.

If you dry mint out will it still have the mint smell? Or is it normal for the mint to lose that smell?
