My mum used to make a really tasty granola. She roasted oats, stirring a few times, in the oven with honey (I'm sure maple syrup would work too) until golden brown. Then mixed in sliced almonds, shredded coconut, raisins (a couple of different types), pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, chopped dates, dried cranberries, peanuts, diced ginger, diced dehydrated fruits (same as you find in fruitcake), cashews, bran flakes - (think she roasted the bran flakes with the oats). Dear Kristina, this is a great recipe, but not fully raw. Rolled oats are made from dehusked oat groats, that are steamed to soften them, then rolled to flatten the grain. If you want raw oats you might use steel-cut oats, that have been soaked overnight. Love your recipe ideas!

Very good. I make all kinds of sprouted and raw granolas. Right now It's a lot of pumpkin, sesame, pecan and sunflower seeds with pumpkin pie spice seasoning and fresh grated ginger. It's best to not keep dehydrated foods in the fridge. Fridges are humid, humidity in dehydrated foods causes mold.

Another option: you can mix rolled oats with mashed up banana, plus any nuts or seeds (optional), cinnamon or cacao, and optionally some raisins or chopped dates or other dried fruit. And dehydrate or bake at 150 for a few hours until crunchy.
