Thanks again to Browne Auto Salvage for letting me explore!

About Adventures Made From Scratch: I’m just a regular guy who likes to find adventure in day to day life. We may not be able to go travel the world, but there are plenty of opportunities at our door step. I do a mix of vintage car stuff, scrapyard stuff, nature hiking, and who knows what else?!? Come with me as I take you along for a ride in my world!

4:02 The sunlight through the red tail lights on those fins is awesome 👌
Looks like someone sitting in there, foot on the brakes, and waiting to roar off into the dusty sunset 🌇

I absolutely love it when someone takes a walk thru video of salvage/junk yards. I understand that some are too big to see all, but your time is much appreciated! I thought about doing this as well, and I figured an owner probably wouldn't want me there filming his/her stuff. I even thought of breaking up a walk-thru into separate videos of the yard was too big.
Thank you very much for the video!!

At 25:50 that’s a SIMCA Aronde, made in France in the 50’s. These were imported by Chrysler as Chrysler didn’t have their own small car yet. Truly a unique find!

Used to have a budy down in western Tenn. with a salvage yard, he'd sell whole cars, sell stripping rights to a car, all you could take off in a day (possibly two is he was feeling generous) but never pulled a part himself. Unfortunately he passed away about 20 years ago

Your doing just fine Silas. The internet is full of idiots who think they know everything. You save more than most people do. Keep on truckin’.

The DeSoto (roof rack inc!) reminds me A LOT of Howard Cunningham's (Happy Days) car. For me, the Olds limo and the 68/69 Chevy p/u sitting side by side.

Silas, have you ever dreamed about a salvage yard? Incredible!

The old Peugeot wagon is the 404 model. My father purchased one brand new in 1970, and it was the car i learnt to drive on. He sold it in 1976 and Purchased a new 504 wagon. It was a good car but not as good as the previous 404.
Many thanks for taking the time to do this video Silas, there is for sure some very interesting vehicles in that yard, including the british stuff too.
Many thanks
David in the UK.

My buddy had a Chevy Monza (like that Skylark) that was a factory V8 4spd. It actually had some balls . Sorry Silas, but we used to call those fake continental tire stampings on Valiant deck lids "Toilet Seats" ! 🤭. 59 Furys had them too. We used to call 71-73 Mustang Fastbacks "The Whale" cause they were so big, heavy and slow. Especially when compared to 64 1/2 - 66s. Those 58-60 window Dodge Suburbans were called "Town Wagons". They just raced a rustbucket 58 Studebaker President on Coldwar Motors Channel. A lot of Dodge School Buses were sold to Indian Reservation Schools. Those little Dodge vans were called the A100. I like the 53 Dodge "Leaping Ram" hood ornaments too. I put one on my 55 Dodge C3H truck which never came with one. That Imperial flower car is ultra rare. Someone should take that on as a project. Another good vid Silas. 👊😎👍

My favorite thing I saw was the 1970 Galaxy 500. I had one with a 351 Windsor with dual exhaust and Sears Muzzlers. From the side it looks like a fast back but the rear glass is almost vertical like the Avalanche.

I despise those 4 door T Bird landaus, a good portion of the rear pillar is fake and literally runs across the rear door glass, what a hoot! 46:20
Thanks for the tour Silas!
Lookin forward to the next.
🤠👍

Hi Silas The Plymouth Valiant with wheel on trunk from 59-61. There were some 1962 that had them. The 1957 Chevrolet they produced more Bel-airs than the 210. I am a Mopar man myself

Personally, I really thought that Dodge School Bus was really COOL!!! And unique that would be awesome to turn into some type of RV. It would definitely be one of one thanks for the tour Buddy.

What a iron gold mine! I could spend days there! Love to save some of those Corvairs, Rare 61 Oldsmobile limo, & Cadillac professional cars (especially the ambulances and flower cars). I spotted several vairy stripped Corvairs! We've got a guy coming up from Oregon to get the quarter panel off a '62 700 sedan! I spotted at least 3 Forward Control Corvair 95 (Corvan & 2 Greenbriers!) That red '61Corvair Greenbrier had a spot light on it (wonder if it was a fire dept rig, I've seen a few). What a great video! Glad you got some goodies!
