I’m activating nerd mode and listing every historical inaccuracy in this game that I can think of:
1. Pretty obvious, but dinosaurs went extinct millions of years before humans evolved.
2. Ancient Egypt was one of the first ever civilizations, and whether the 2nd one is Rome or Sparta, neither formed until centuries later.
3. Hannibal was a Carthaginian General during the Punic Wars, with a burning hatred for anything Roman
4. Anubis was a god as far as I know, so he probably would be the most powerful Egyptian unit.
5. The Medieval Age seems to have both satyrs and griffons, which were from Greek Mythology
6. Rasputin was from Russia and lived in the 20th century. Also, he was a religious healer who was well liked by the government, so not really what I’d call a rancid, dark mage. (I did like 5 minutes of research so correct me if I’m wrong.
7. Genghis Khan was Emperor of the Mongols in the 12th & 13th centuries. By the way, he has thousands of descendants, not kids.
8. Cannot confirm if the year 3000 will have cyborgs and sky lasers
