very insightful, but I am curious about your last sentence, what is a low variance dataset ? or is it a low variance model (less complexity model and training with a regularization in loss function)? thank you

So, in models like polynomial's regression, xgboost etc we should regularize it as hell? It's a way to achieve an better model in small data sets? Besides that, you have some references to deal with small data sets? I'm actually dealing with it and I kinda lost
